Free, online resources more useful

This book is well written, and the examples are decent, if you've never seen an actual IEP, but because each state (and sometimes even each school district) typically has its own IEP format, this book isn't terribly useful. Maryland (the state I am in) requires that IEP annual goals be taken directly from the Voluntary State Curriculum, at grade level, but this book only covers the very basics outlined by IDEA.

When researching (via Google) online resources as to how to write IEP Goals based on a curriculum (even when the student's academic functioning is far below grade level), I came across a number of very useful, (legally) free resources, often put together by actual state boards of education, or school districts, to aid their own teachers in meeting state requirements for an IEP.

That being said, I would recommend this book if 1) you have no time to look up other resources, and/or 2) you don't have internet access. It's well written, and gets you in the ball park, so it's better than nothing.

Not worth the money

This book was recommended by one of my grad professors. It is not with the $29.23 I paid for it. If you have never written an IEP and if you do not have the time to read even one or two web resources then buy this book. But, if you have written an IEP or if you are willing to read a bit on the web DO NOT WAISTE YOUR MONEY!

He has also been teaching various CAD software for more than 16 years. Deepak’s experience of Autodesk Navisworks goes back to the days when this software was still Navisworks JetStream. Best book to learn Navisworks and BIM 360 Glue

When it comes to learning Autodesk Navisworks, this is your book. Lessons are well explained. The author makes it clear and comprehensive. Every chapter is followed with real world exercises. The sensitive words are written bold to get your attention. I use Navisworks daily, for coordination, clash detective etc. So far the Up and Running with Autodesk Navisworks 2016 from Deepak Maini is the best source to learn Navisworks, BIM360 Glue. And the bonus is you have a tutorial video from the author.

Navisworks Learning The Right Way!

Expert and novice alike will appreciate the approach taken in "Up and Running with Autodesk Navisworks 2016". Clear text (and text formatting) steps you through each of the software's tools with very adequate examples and with few but clear, gray shade illustrations. With a logical breakdown of topics covered, this book is very effective in giving the learner the confidence to start producing results using this software. The one feature that really sets this training apart is the ability to access free videos. After a simple registration process, you will appreciate the quality of and content in the videos (even though there is no audio). Autodesk Navisworks is a powerful software that could be difficult to learn for the novice (like me) if it were not for the learning approach of the accomplished author/teacher in this book. I highly recommend this book.
