Two and a half really.

I was trying to decide which of Tung's point book to get as a reference, since the Miriam Lee book was the only one I had, and I was told that Miriam's book wasn't too credible of a source for Tung's. So to Amazon, I go and noticed thus one after getting an email from a local practitioner. The author is from my area, so I thought of keeping things local. Well. It doesn't vary much from Lee's book except anecdotal usages. There are a lot of misprints also, and no way does the book get into any of the theory behind usage. This is pretty much a point location book with some clinical usage. I ended up getting a lot more from someone's seminar hand outs than from the book itself. I would of gave it more stars, but the misprints made me cross reference too much.

Great book for someone who has already studied Master Tung's acupuncture

I own many books on Master Tung's acupuncture, including Palden Carson's translation of Master Tung's book (the first book out, which is pretty barebones and has virtually no clinical guidance in it), Dr. Wang's book, Dr. Maher, Dr. Young, and Dr. Lee's.

This book has some original clinical notes that reflect how Master Tung actually used his points, along with Dr. Wang's personal clinical experience. For this reason it is one of the better books currently available. However, in the absence of some good instruction, it will probably be hard for a practitioner to pick up this book and start effectively using Master Tung's points.

I suggest new practitioners seek out instruction from Dr. Young or Susan Johnson and add this book to their libary after already studying the system.

The authors have presented those interested in this incredibly clinically applicable system of Acupuncture, with a great deal of information laid out in a manner that both is easy to follow and implement into your Acupuncture practice.

Many points were not only defined but the illustrations help to find it and learn how to needle the point as well.

Master Tung practiced a family system of acupuncture that is not seen in the mainstream but in the past few years has been steadily rising. I have used many of these points and concepts to help people in my clinic.

Books in English on Master Tung Acupuncture and like legs on snakes. Not that easy to find.

Packed full of information that can help you better utilize this system, those interested in this style of Acupuncture will not be disappointed in this book.

Great true story,amazing couple, shows how adversity brings out the best in some people. Folks who moan and groan about how life isn't fair should have a read of this to get things in perspective. I did see Sam's Australian Story on television, so definitely wanted to read about him and Jenny. One gets no negative vibes whatsoever when reading about Sam's lows, which are far outweighed by his attitude, which leads him to experience highs others will only dream about.

Beware Sexual Content

I absolutly love Myers textbooks on psychology-well written-interesting-and informative. However, unless you want to read constantly, and I mean constantly about sexual studies on erectile dysfunction,sexual arousal, sexual response, sex sex sex in EVERY module reguardless of the topic being discussed look somewhere else. I know that sex is a psychological topic (I am a psychologist) but this is ridiculous. I just don't understand it and I am not a prude! These textbooks are used everyday in high school AP psychology classes. In module three Myers uses a study by Collins 2004 in which it states, "The more sexual content teens see on TV, the more likely they are to have sex." How about how often they read it in their AP Psych class?! Honestly, every third page has a study example concerning sex. And even sexual jokes when discussing hearing loss by noise to encourage the use of earplugs, "Condoms or, safer yet, abstinence-is like earplugs or walk away." ha ha ha NOT! I really wanted to use these textbooks to teach my class but I honestly in good conscience cannot.

Great Book

I went through the book 2 times and I am sure that I will go through it again. This book has a lot of good basic information on hacking. I went through some of the examples and was surprised at what I could do. This is a good book for a newbie who wants to learn some initial information. The format of the book flowed well and the information was easy to understand. Great book!

Lots of useful hacking tricks inside

I’m an avid reader and truly found this to be a great non-fiction book! I’m not really a “computer person” per se, but I always thought it might be cool to know more about hacking just because it sounded interesting. Well I totally lucked out at purchasing this book. The author does a great job of speaking in really clear layman’s terms that even I can understand, and gives great background about some cool hacking jargon that I’ve seen thrown around here and there (such as White Hat and Black Hat) that I never really understood. Also, there are actual, specific steps to achieve specific goals, that are so simple! I’m really excited to know how to run programs from my computer without having to really install them on my memory, for example. Who would have thought that that was even possible? I think this is an outstanding book for anyone who wants to know more about hacking, and maybe even try some out for themselves!

As a newbie to hacking the book is ok, it has some good information, it mixes in tips with meaning behind what a hacker is, like how to do simple tasks for hacking, I would have like to see more in the book however it does give some useful links to places where you can advanced your skills if you want to further you hacking skills.
I would say have this as your starter guide and go from there.

About the Author

Dr. Michael McGrath is an established city professional, with over 15 years of experience working for some of the world's leading banks. He is currently a Head of Function for ADM Operations at Lloyds Banking Group. He is a former regional Chief Technical Officer at Merrill Lynch and Project Delivery Director at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. He was a founder of Hibernia Consulting, a project delivery and risk management consulting firm serving major investment banking clients.
Michael has spent his professional life implementing complex change, in particular managing Mergers and Acquisitions from the announcement of the deal through to post-merger integration. M&A deals he has worked on include Lloyds TSB Group, the Deutsche Bank acquisition of Bankers Trust (then the largest banking acquisition ever made), the Bankers Trust acquisition of NatWest Markets (then the largest banking acquisition in the UK) and IBM's acquisition of Lotus Development.
Michael holds an MBA from the Smurfit School of Business; his MBA thesis won the Institute of Accountants in Ireland gold medal for research in 1996. His doctoral research examines risk behaviour in unfamiliar problem domains and he is probably the only person in the United Kingdom to hold a doctorate in banking M&A risk management.

While Jack is attending a conference in Houston, Zoe is asked by her employer to discreetly recover a stolen painting and travels to Edinburgh, Scotland, where she finds nothing is what it seems. The painting, it turns out, is not very valuable and the person who stole it is attacked. Zoe discovers a mystery from the past is connected to what is happening now and together with Jack, travels to Salzburg to find out more about the painting. I don't want to say anything more because I don't want to ruin it for you.
One of the things that first drew me to this series is that while they start out here in the states, they span across Europe and stories are interesting and hold your interest. Devious, like the other four books in the series is well written, the story moves along at a good clip with twists and turns and it has great characterization. There is always something happening that keeps the momentum going. If you like a nice, entertaining mystery that moves along at a good pace with characters you can't help but like, then this series is for you.

Another fun trip with Zoe!

I always enjoy traveling with Zoe and I think that this was the best trip yet! We visit Edinburgh and Salzburg on this trip and I loved learning some of the history and culture that make each city unique.

One reason that I liked this 'trip' the best (so far) is that this latest volume is a bit slower in pace but still has the twists and turns that I've come to expect with the series. I loved the fact that I was never sure what would happen next. The characters continue to develop as well as the relationship between Zoe and Jack.

Although this is number 5 in the On the Run series, (and I prefer to read things in order), this one could be read as a stand alone as characters are introduced in a way that the reader learns enough about each without slowing down the book.

I couldn't put this one down and stayed up until 3:30 AM to finish it. Thank you, Ms. Rosett for allowing me to review!

This is my favorite Zoe mystery to date although I have enjoyed them all! I love the opportunity to travel to Scotland with Zoe in this one, and I enjoy the relationship Zoe has with her husband. Sara's characters are so believable and enjoyable that I feel they would be friends if I met them in person. The mystery keeps me interested and the book is never slow. I'm happy to have had the opportunity to read it!

Informative and Entertaining

There's so much great stuff in here, and it's written and compiled in a way that makes it very engaging and entertaining, while still being very informative. Our company is known for our great customer support, so it's really cool to see so much of what we already do validated in this book, but it's equally if not more useful to get tips and insight on ways we can still improve. I love the guideline chapters at the end that take some of the stuff that was written in paragraph form earlier in the book and condensed to bullet points. That's going to be very helpful to continually remind ourselves of some of those best practices and guidelines.

I bought one copy initially so I could read it myself and see how beneficial it might be for my team, and after just reading a couple of chapters it was already clear that I want them each to own their own personal copy.

Absolute must-have for anyone that deals with customers and want to be good at it

If you run a support outfit big or small, this book will help you get your s#%t together (excuse my french). We run a 24-hour support operation that deals with inbound calls, emails, and chats. We used this book to first help us identify things we were doing that was not beneficial to our customers, then to train our agents on better ways to handle customers and situations. I ended up using the book a guide for one helluva training session and I'm making it a required reading for ll of the support supervisors. If you deal with customers, but this book!

Leveled up my customer support...and I thought I was good before this

I've been a support professional for a number of years--first job out of college was customer support at a small software company. I thought I had customer support engrained in my blood when I started running a WordPress plugin business in 2010. Sarah gave a talk at an entrepreneur conference in 2012 and was offering this book in an early package. Hearing her speak, I was convinced she knew what she was talking about and signed up for the book. Three months later, I got it and I was NOT disappointed.

Dense and rich, with stories, specific scripts, history, and great philosophical discussions, this book has transformed my customer support for plugins. I went from a 4 out of 5 stars rating my plugin to 4.7 out of 5 today. Her emphasis of language makes a HUGE difference in how you handle customers, frontline support, refunds, and angry people.

Sarah truly understands the psyche of the support role and her book is a must have for any support professional, manager or otherwise.

This may be a thin volume, but it's an excellent source for those interested in spanking. It covers anatomy, positions, technique, and discusses spanking. It's a good basic introduction on what would seem like a simple kink, just apply hand to backside. I have purchased multiple copies of this book and I give them out to people as a way of explaining what I like and how I like it. Friendly, approachable, and informative. You may be a newbie with questions, a partner trying to express what gets you off, or even an experienced kinkster looking to broaden your skill set. This book has something for everyone.
